Privacy policy

1. What we collect

ChinnuX doesn't require an account. We collect only what's needed to make and ship your order:

• Order details — name, email, phone, and shipping address, entered at checkout.
• Your design — whatever you upload, generate, or a photo you submit to be restyled into an illustrated character. This is stored so it can be reprinted or referenced if there's an issue with your order.
• Cart contents — kept in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, until you check out.

2. What we don't collect

We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — payment is handled entirely by Razorpay, our payment processor. We don't use your uploaded photos or designs for anything other than producing your order, unless you separately agree otherwise.

3. Who we share it with

Only the services required to fulfil your order:

• Razorpay — to process payment.
• Shiprocket and courier partners — to ship your order and provide tracking.
• Vercel — our hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores order data and uploaded designs on our behalf.

We don't sell your data to anyone, for any reason.

4. AI-generated and uploaded designs

If you generate a design or restyle a photo, the prompt/image is sent to our AI providers (via the Vercel AI Gateway) solely to produce the result you see on screen. It's handled the same way as any other design you submit — stored to fulfil your order, not used to train models or shared beyond what's needed to print your item.

5. How long we keep it

Order and design records are kept for as long as needed for order history, warranty claims, and legal/tax record-keeping. You can ask us to delete personal data tied to a past order once it's no longer legally required to be kept.

6. Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion (subject to the retention needs above) by reaching out with the order number and email address used at checkout.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
